<h2>About the Role</h2>
<p>We are a women’s fashion company seeking a Director of E-Commerce &amp; Technology to lead and manage all technical aspects of our digital commerce presence.</p>
<p>You’ll own the day-to-day operations of our online store and digital stack including our social media. Content/creative comes from our team; your focus is execution, structure, and scale: keeping the catalog pristine, visual aesthetics smooth, data clean, and tools well-orchestrated. You’re commercially minded, highly organized, and love turning messy workflows into clean, repeatable processes.</p>

<p><strong>E-Commerce Platform Management (Shopify):&nbsp;</strong></p>
</li>

<p>Upload and configure new products, collections, and categories.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Manage product data, pricing, tags, and SEO fields.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Implement and optimize Shopify apps and integrations.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ensure smooth checkout and payment processes.</p>

<p><strong>Systems &amp; Process Engineering:</strong></p>
</li>
</ul>

<p>Develop repeatable workflows for product launches and updates.</p>

<p>Integrate Shopify with ERP, inventory, and fulfillment systems.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Manage data consistency across platforms (Shopify, CRM, logistics).</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Automate tasks to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.</p>

<p><strong>Digital Operations Oversight:&nbsp;</strong></p>
</li>
</ul>

<p>Manage and execute email campaigns and newsletters (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar) - with content provided.</p>

<li>
<p>Ensure Instagram Shop and other social commerce tools are properly configured and maintained.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Monitor website uptime, speed, and performance.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Own digital compliance (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, PCI, etc.).</p>

<p><strong>Leadership &amp; Reporting:</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Act as the technology lead for the e-commerce function.</p>
</li>

<p>Collaborate with our team to execute campaigns smoothly.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Provide regular reporting on operational efficiency and platform performance.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies.</p>

<h2>Qualifications</h2>
<ul>
<li>
<p>5–8+ years in e-commerce operations (fashion/DTC a plus), stewarding a Shopify (ideally Plus) store.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong expertise with Shopify and ecosystem apps.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Comfortable administering ESP/CRM tools and common Shopify apps; basic HTML/CSS a plus (not required).</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Proven experience integrating e-commerce platforms with third-party systems (inventory, fulfillment, analytics).</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Hands-on skills in digital tools: Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Omnisend, Google Analytics, etc.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong technical aptitude: comfortable with APIs, automations, and workflow tools (Zapier, Make, etc.).</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Exceptional attention to detail and ability to systematize processes.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Leadership mindset — ability to set direction, create standards, and manage execution. Clear communicator who can set standards, document processes, and keep cross-functional work moving.</p>
