In this Sr. Manager, DevOps role, you will lead a high-impact global Site Reliability, DevOps and AWS Infrastructure team where performance, scalability, and reliability are top priorities. You will be the single-threaded owner of our cloud AWS infrastructure strategy, ensuring our systems can grow with the business while empowering engineers to deliver at speed. 
This position combines technical leadership, architecture, hands-on engineering, and people management. You will directly manage a small team of internal and external engineers on the technical direction, coaching your team, and contributing to the architecture and implementation of our AWS platform. 
What You’ll Do 
<ul>
<li>Lead & Manage: Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and career development for your team of direct reports and outsourced contributors. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Architect & Scale: Design, implement, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure with a focus on global scalability, high availability, and security. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Infrastructure-as-Code: Deliver scalable Cloud infrastructure that is maintainable, and repeatable using Terraform and CloudFormation. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Platform Engineering: Own and evolve our orchestration platforms, enabling teams to run services reliably at scale through automation. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>CI/CD Ownership: Build and maintain modern CI/CD pipelines, enabling continuous integration, testing, and deployment across multiple services and geographies. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Data & Event Systems: Manage and optimize event-driven and data-processing systems including Kafka for real-time streaming and Airflow for workflow orchestration. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Identity & Security: Implement and maintain Keycloak or equivalent IAM solutions for secure authentication/authorization. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Enable Engineers: Create self-service and automation frameworks that empower product teams to deploy and operate services independently. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Reliability Engineering: Deliver monitoring, alerting, observability, and self-healing systems for cloud infrastructure and critical services. </li>
<li>Strategic Ownership: Drive continuous improvement in performance, cost efficiency, resilience, and platform maturity across AWS services. </li>
</ul>
What You’ll Bring 
<ul>
<li>8+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or related software engineering fields.</li>
<li>5+ years of hands-on experience architecting, scaling, and operating production systems on AWS.</li>
<li>3+ years of team management or technical leadership experience aligning infrastructure strategies with business needs</li>
<li>Experience mentoring engineers, leading roadmaps, and balancing hands-on work with strategic leadership. Strong decision-making skills in fast-paced, high-growth environments.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s a plus). Equivalent experience considered. </li>
</ul>
Technical Expertise
<ul>
<li>AWS Core Services: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, CloudFront, EBS, EFS. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>AWS Advanced Services: EKS, ECS, Lambda, Kinesis, MSK (Kafka), Secrets Manager, Step Functions, Systems Manager. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Infrastructure-as-Code: Strong proficiency in Terraform and CloudFormation. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Containerization & Orchestration: Expertise in Kubernetes and Docker. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>CI/CD Pipelines: Proven experience designing and managing pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or equivalent). </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Streaming & Workflow: Hands-on experience with Kafka (or AWS MSK) and Airflow. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Identity Management: Knowledge of Keycloak or similar IAM/SSO solutions. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Programming/Scripting: Strong in Python, Bash, or Go for automation and tooling. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Systems: Proficient in Linux systems, networking, and AWS security best practices. </li>
</ul>
Nice to Have: 
<ul>
<li>Experience with Agile Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Exposure to Fastly or other CDN solutions. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Background in software engineering in addition to infrastructure. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Experience building a DevOps-first culture emphasizing automation, ownership, and reliability. </li>
